SPAIN, May. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: After losing 1-0 to Mallorca on May 20, Los Rojiblancos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Mirandés this Saturday.
Quique Gonzalez scored dual goals
Almeria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Quique Gonzalez in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Quique Gonzalez with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
UD Almería climbed to 7th place with 44 points from 33 games, 2 points behind SD Huesca, which has a game in hand.
