SPAIN, May. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: After a 0-0 draw with Alcorcon on May 20, the Blanquivermells lost 3-1 against Gimnastic de Tarragona.
Uche Ikechukwu scored dual goals
Girona had started off well by taking the lead in the 1st minute with a goal by Maffeo Pablo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Nastic nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Barreiro Manu '50 and Uche Ikechukwu '60, '69).
Girona FC remains in second place with 55 points from 32 games, 13 points behind Levante UD.
