Segunda division (Week 41) : Cordoba defeats Rayo 2-1
SPAIN, Jun. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 41: Two wins in a row for Cordoba. After their 4-2 win against Real Oviedo on May 28, Los Califas continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Baena Raul opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Cordoba catch up in the 11th minute thanks to Galan Javi. 1-1 at half time. Los Califas eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Alfaro Alejandro in the 57th minute.
Cordoba CF climbed to 10th place with 43 points from 33 games, tie on points with CD Lugo.
