Serie A (Week 16) : Torino defeats Genoa 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 21, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 16: Grifone crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-1 against Torino.
Kamil Glik scored dual goals
Genoa had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by Spanish forward Iago Falqué. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Il Toro nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Glik '52, '63).
Genoa CFC are down in 6th place with 26 points from 16 games, tie on points with Lazio, which has a game in hand.
