Serie A (Week 16) : Juve beats Cagliari 3-1
ITALY, Dec. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 16: After their 0-0 draw against Fiorentina on December 14 and 1-1 draw against Sampdoria on December 14, La Vecchia Signora returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Cagliari this Thursday.
Juventus dominated the first half thanks to goals from Tévez ('3) and Vidal ('15). Leading 2-0 at the break, La Vecchia Signora further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Llorente in the 50th minute.
Juventus remains in first place with 39 points from 16 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
