Serie A (Week 15) : Juve and Samp play to a 1-1 draw
ITALY, Dec. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 15: The match between actual leader Juventus and Sampdoria ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Juventus players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French defender Patrice Evra in the 12th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sampdoria with a saving goal from Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini in the 51st minute.
Juventus remains in first place with 36 points from 15 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
