Serie A (Week 15) : Fiorentina defeats Cesena 4-1
ITALY, Dec. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 15: After their 0-0 draw against Juventus on December 5, the Viola returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Cesena this Sunday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Borja Valero in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Savić '47, Rodriguez '79 and El Hamdaoui '90).
ACF Fiorentina climbed to 7th place with 23 points from 15 games, only one point behind Napoli, which has a game in hand.
