Serie A (Week 14) : Samp beats Verona 3-1
ITALY, Dec. 8, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 14: After three straigth draws, the Blucerchiati bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Monday.
Sampdoria forward Eder opened the score in the 28th minute on penalty, before seeing Hellas Verona catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Luca Toni. 1-1 at half time. The Blucerchiati eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Okaka ('57) and Gabbiadini ('62).
UC Sampdoria climbed to fourth place with 25 points from 14 games, only one point behind Genoa CFC.
