Serie A (Week 14) : Napoli draw 2-2 with Empoli
ITALY, Dec. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 14: Napoli was held to a 2-2 draw by Empoli on Sunday.
Empoli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Empoli midfielder Simone Verdi in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Rugani goal ('53) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Napoli with goals by Zapata ('67) and Jonathan de Guzmán ('72).
Napoli remains in third place with 24 points from 14 games, 8 points behind AS Roma.
