Serie A (Week 16) : Samp and Udinese play out 2-2 draw
ITALY, Dec. 21, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 16: Sampdoria was held to a 2-2 draw by Udinese on Sunday.
Udinese players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Geijo ('31) and Danilo ('34) while Sampdoria only scored once Obiang ('15). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sampdoria with a saving goal from Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini in the 60th minute.
UC Sampdoria remains in fourth place with 27 points from 16 games, tie on points with Napoli.
