Serie A (Week 17) : Lazio beats Samp 3-0
ITALY, Jan. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 17: After their 2-2 draw against Inter Milan on December 21, the Biancocelesti returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Sampdoria this Monday.
Lazio dominated the first half thanks to goals from Parolo ('38) and Anderson ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Biancocelesti further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Djordjevic in the 67th minute.
Lazio remains in third place with 30 points from 17 games, 6 points behind AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
