Serie A (Week 17) : Sassuolo beats Milan 2-1
ITALY, Jan. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against Cesena on December 20, the Neroverdi returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over AC Milan this Tuesday.
AC Milan midfielder Andrea Poli opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Sassuolo catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Nicola Sansone. 1-1 at half time. The Neroverdi eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Zaza in the 67th minute.
AC Milan remains in 7th place with 25 points from 17 games, 2 points behind UC Sampdoria.
