Serie A (Week 22) : Torino beats Verona 3-1
ITALY, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 22: Four wins in a row for Torino. After their success against Cesena, Inter Milan and Sampdoria, Il Toro continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Saturday.
Torino dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Venezuelan forward Martinez in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Il Toro further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Quagliarella '50/penalty and El Kaddouri '90).
Torino FC climbed to 7th place with 31 points from 22 games, only one point behind ACF Fiorentina, which has a game in hand.
