ITALY, Feb. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Genoa. After their 0-1 win against Lazio on February 9, Grifone continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 5-2 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Niang scored dual goals
Genoa dominated the first half thanks to goals from Agostini ('10 own) and Niang ('12, '30). Leading 3-1 at the break, Grifone further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bertolacci '65 and Perotti '86).
Genoa CFC climbed to 6th place with 35 points from 23 games, 2 points behind Lazio.
