Serie A (Week 23) : Milan and Empoli play to a 1-1 draw
ITALY, Feb. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 23: The match between AC Milan and Empoli ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
AC Milan players started off well by taking the lead thanks to AC Milan forward Mattia Destro in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Empoli with a saving goal from Empoli forward Massimo Maccarone in the 68th minute.
AC Milan climbed to 10th place with 30 points from 23 games, only one point behind Torino FC, which has a game in hand.
