Serie A (Week 24) : Milan beats Cesena 2-0
ITALY, Feb. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Empoli on February 15, the Rossoneri bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Cesena this Sunday.
AC Milan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rossoneri further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pazzini on penalty seconds before the end of regulation.
AC Milan climbed to 8th place with 33 points from 24 games, 2 points behind UC Sampdoria, which has a game in hand.
