Serie A (Week 22) : Fiorentina defeats Atalanta 3-2
ITALY, Feb. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 22: After their 1-1 draw against AS Roma on January 31 and 1-1 draw against Genoa on January 31, the Viola returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Atalanta defender Davide Zappacosta opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Fiorentina catch up in the 18th minute thanks to José María Basanta. 1-1 at half time. The Viola eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Diamanti ('76) and Pasqual ('89).
ACF Fiorentina climbed to fourth place with 35 points from 22 games, 4 points behind Napoli, which has a game in hand.
