Serie A (Week 21) : Genoa and Fiorentina play out 1-1 draw
ITALY, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 21: The match between Genoa and Fiorentina ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Genoa players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tătăruşanu into his own net in the 14th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Fiorentina with a saving goal from Spanish midfielder Rodriguez in the 55th minute.
ACF Fiorentina remains in 6th place with 32 points from 21 games, 2 points behind UC Sampdoria, which has a game in hand.
