Serie A (Week 27) : Cagliari and Empoli play to a 1-1 draw
ITALY, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: The match between Cagliari and Empoli ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Cagliari players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese midfielder Pedro in the 20th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Empoli with a saving goal from Uruguayan midfielder Matías Vecino in the 90th minute.
Empoli FC remains in 13rd place with 30 points from 27 games, one point behind Udinese, which has two games in hand.
