Serie A (Week 26) : Samp beats Cagliari 2-0

ITALY, Mar. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Sampdoria. After their 1-2 win against Atalanta on March 1, the Blucerchiati continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Cagliari this Saturday.

Sampdoria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Lorenzo De Silvestri in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blucerchiati further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Eto'o in the 72nd minute.

UC Sampdoria remains in 6th place with 42 points from 26 games, tie on points with ACF Fiorentina, which has a game in hand.
