Serie A (Week 25) : Samp beats Atalanta 2-1
ITALY, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 25: After their 1-1 draw against Genoa on February 24, the Blucerchiati returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Atalanta had started off well by taking the lead in the 16th minute with a goal by defender Guglielmo Stendardo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Blucerchiati nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Muriel '68 and Okaka '81).
UC Sampdoria climbed to 6th place with 39 points from 25 games, tie on points with ACF Fiorentina, which has a game in hand.
