ITALY, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 25: After their 1-1 draw against AS Roma on February 22, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Cagliari this Sunday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Luca Toni in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gomez in the 66th minute.
Hellas Verona climbed to 14th place with 28 points from 25 games, tie on points with Udinese, which has two games in hand.
