Serie A (Week 31) : Empoli and Parma play to a 2-2 draw
ITALY, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 31: The match between Empoli and Parma ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Empoli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Maccarone ('32) and Tonelli ('45) while Parma only scored once Lodi ('19). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Parma with a saving goal from Algerian forward Ishak Belfodil in the 73rd minute.
Empoli FC remains in 15th place with 34 points from 31 games, one point behind Udinese.
