Serie A (Week 33) : Genoa defeats Milan 3-1
ITALY, Apr. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Genoa. After their 3-1 win against Cesena on April 26, Grifone continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over AC Milan this Wednesday.
Genoa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Andrea Bertolacci in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Grifone further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Niang '49 and Falqué '90/penalty).
Genoa CFC climbed to 6th place with 50 points from 33 games, only one point behind UC Sampdoria.
