Serie A (Week 34) : Roma beats Genoa 2-0
ITALY, May. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 34: Two wins in a row for AS Roma. After their 0-3 win against Sassuolo on April 29, the Giallorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Genoa this Sunday.
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ivorian forward Seydou Doumbia in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Florenzi in stoppage time.
AS Roma climbed to second place with 64 points from 34 games, 15 points behind Juventus.
