Serie A (Week 22) : Carpi and Palermo tied at 1-1
ITALY, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 22: The match between Carpi and Palermo ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Palermo players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Palermo forward Alberto Gilardino in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Carpi with a saving goal from Mancosu Matteo on penalty in the 74th minute.
Palermo remains in 14th place with 25 points from 22 games, one point behind Atalanta BC, which has a game in hand.
