Serie A (Week 22) : Napoli beats Empoli 5-1
ITALY, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 22: 6 wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Atalanta, Torino, Frosinone, Sassuolo and Sampdoria, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 5-1 victory over Empoli this Sunday.
Callejon Jose scored dual goals
Empoli opened the score in the score in the 28th minute thanks to Paredes Leandro, before Napoli regained the advantage with Higuaín ('33) and Insigne ('37). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Camporese Michele '51/own and Callejon Jose '83, '88).
Napoli remains in first place with 50 points from 22 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Juventus.
