ITALY, Feb. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 23: The match between Empoli and Udinese ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Udinese players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Colombian forward Zapata Duvan in the 23rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Empoli with a saving goal from Empoli forward Manuel Pucciarelli in the 90th minute.
Empoli FC climbed to 8th place with 33 points from 23 games, tie on points with US Sassuolo Calcio.
