Serie A (Week 24) : Roma defeats Samp 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for AS Roma. After their success against Frosinone and Sassuolo, the Giallorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Sampdoria this Sunday.
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Alessandro Florenzi in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Perotti in the 50th minute.
AS Roma remains in fifth place with 44 points from 24 games, one point behind Inter Milan.
