Serie A (Week 24) : Chievo beats Torino 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 24: After three straigth defeats, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Torino this Sunday.
Torino midfielder Marco Benassi opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Chievo catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Bruno Peres own goal. 1-1 at half time. The Gialloblu eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Birsa on penalty in the 72nd minute.
AC Chievo Verona climbed to 10th place with 30 points from 24 games, 3 points behind Empoli FC and Lazio.
