Serie A (Week 26) : Roma defeats Palermo 5-0
ITALY, Feb. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 26: Five wins in a row for AS Roma. After their success against Frosinone, Sassuolo, Sampdoria and Carpi, the Giallorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 5-0 victory over Palermo this Sunday.
Edin Džeko and Mohamed Salah scored dual goals
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bosnian forward Edin Džeko in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Keita '52, Salah '60, '62 and Džeko '89).
AS Roma remains in fourth place with 50 points from 26 games, 2 points behind ACF Fiorentina.
