Serie A (Week 26) : Inter defeats Samp 3-1
ITALY, Feb. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 26: After losing 2-1 to Fiorentina on February 14, the Beneamata bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Sampdoria this Saturday.
Inter Milan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender D Ambrosio Danilo in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Beneamata further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Miranda Joao '57 and Icardi '73).
Inter Milan climbed to fourth place with 48 points from 26 games, only one point behind ACF Fiorentina, which has a game in hand.
