ITALY, Feb. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: After losing 3-1 to Inter Milan on February 20, the Blucerchiati bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Frosinone this Sunday.
Sampdoria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Fernando Lucas in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blucerchiati further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Quagliarella in the 69th minute.
UC Sampdoria climbed to 16th place with 28 points from 27 games, tie on points with Genoa CFC.
