ITALY, Feb. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: 6 wins in a row for AS Roma. After their success against Frosinone, Sassuolo, Sampdoria, Carpi and Palermo, the Giallorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Empoli this Saturday.
Stephan El Shaarawy scored dual goals
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to goals from El Shaarawy Stephan ('5) and Pjanić ('27). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by El Shaarawy Stephan in the 74th minute.
AS Roma climbed to third place with 53 points from 27 games, 4 points behind Napoli, which has a game in hand.
