Serie A (Week 27) : Sassuolo defeats Lazio 2-0
ITALY, Feb. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Sassuolo. After their 3-2 win against Empoli on February 21, the Neroverdi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Lazio this Monday.
Sassuolo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Domenico Berardi in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Neroverdi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Defrel in the 67th minute.
US Sassuolo Calcio remains in 7th place with 41 points from 27 games, 6 points behind AC Milan.
