ITALY, Mar. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Sampdoria. After their 2-0 win against Frosinone on February 28, the Blucerchiati continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona this Saturday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Roberto Soriano ('6), Antonio Cassano ('11) and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos ('30).
UC Sampdoria climbed to 13rd place with 31 points from 28 games, only one point behind Torino FC, which has a game in hand.
