Serie A (Week 30) : Carpi beats Verona 2-1
ITALY, Mar. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 30: Two wins in a row for Carpi. After their 2-1 win against Frosinone on March 13, the Biancorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Carpi dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Di Gaudio Antonio in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lasagna Kevin in the 67th minute.
Carpi FC 1909 climbed to 17th place with 28 points from 30 games, 3 points behind Udinese.
