Serie A (Week 31) : Sassuolo defeats Carpi 3-1
ITALY, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 31: After their 1-1 draw against Udinese on March 20, the Neroverdi returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Carpi this Saturday.
Sassuolo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sansone ('4) and Defrel ('35). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Neroverdi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Acerbi in the 73rd minute.
US Sassuolo Calcio remains in 7th place with 48 points from 31 games, one point behind AC Milan, which has a game in hand.
