Serie A (Week 31) : Chievo beats Palermo 3-1
ITALY, Apr. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 31: Two wins in a row for Chievo. After their 0-1 win against Sampdoria on March 20, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Palermo this Sunday.
Chievo defender Fabrizio Cacciatore opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Palermo catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Alberto Gilardino. 1-1 at half time. The Gialloblu eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Rigoni Nicola ('53) and Birsa ('74).
AC Chievo Verona remains in 9th place with 41 points from 31 games, one point behind Lazio.
