Serie A (Week 33) : Frosinone beats Verona 2-1
ITALY, Apr. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 33: After losing 4-0 to Genoa on April 9 and 0-1 to Inter Milan on April 9, the Canarini returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Frosinone dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Russo Adriano in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Canarini further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Frara Alessandro in stoppage time.
Frosinone Calcio climbed to 18th place with 30 points from 33 games, only one point behind Carpi FC 1909.
