Serie A (Week 33) : Carpi beats Genoa 4-1
ITALY, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 33: After losing 1-3 to Sassuolo on April 9 and 1-0 to Chievo on April 9, the Biancorossi returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Genoa this Saturday.
Genoa opened the score in the score in the 34th minute thanks to Leonardo Pavoletti, before Carpi regained the advantage with Di Gaudio Antonio ('45) and Lollo Lorenzo ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pasciuti Lorenzo '49 and Sabelli Stefano '86).
Genoa CFC are down in 11st place with 40 points from 33 games, 2 points behind Torino FC.
