ITALY, Oct. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Torino. After their 3-1 win against AS Roma on September 25, Il Toro continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina this Sunday.
Torino dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish forward Iago Falqué in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Il Toro further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Benassi in the 60th minute.
Torino FC climbed to 6th place with 11 points from 7 games, 2 points behind AC Milan.
