Serie A (Week 8) : Torino beats Palermo 4-1
ITALY, Oct. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Torino. After their success against AS Roma and Fiorentina, Il Toro continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 4-1 victory over Palermo this Monday.
Adem Ljajić scored dual goals
Palermo opened the score in the score in the 5th minute thanks to Ivaylo Chochev, before Torino regained the advantage with Ljajić ('25, '40) and Benassi ('45). Leading 3-1 at the break, Il Toro further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Baselli in the 50th minute.
Torino FC climbed to fourth place with 14 points from 8 games, 2 points behind AC Milan.
