ITALY, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 8: The Partenopei crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 3-1 against AS Roma.
Edin Džeko scored dual goals
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bosnian forward Edin Džeko in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Džeko '54 and Salah '85).
AS Roma climbed to second place with 16 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Juventus, which has a game in hand.
