Serie A (Week 8) : Sassuolo beats Crotone 2-1
ITALY, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 8: After losing 4-3 to AC Milan on October 2, the Neroverdi returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Crotone this Sunday.
Crotone had started off well by taking the lead in the 2nd minute with a goal by Falcinelli Diego. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Neroverdi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Sensi Stefano '83 and Iemmello Pietro '86).
US Sassuolo Calcio climbed to 9th place with 12 points from 8 games, tie on points with Genoa CFC, which has a game in hand.
