ITALY, Oct. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: The match between Bologna and Sassuolo ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Bologna players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Bologna midfielder Simone Verdi in the 10th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sassuolo with a saving goal from Sassuolo forward Alessandro Matri in the 86th minute.
US Sassuolo Calcio climbed to 9th place with 13 points from 9 games, tie on points with Atalanta BC.
