Serie A (Week 9) : Torino draw 2-2 with Lazio
ITALY, Oct. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: Torino was held to a 2-2 draw by Lazio on Sunday.
Torino players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Spanish forward Iago Falqué in the 20th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Ljajić goal on penalty ('90) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Lazio with goals by Ciro Immobile ('71) and Alessandro Murgia ('84).
Torino FC are down in fifth place with 15 points from 9 games, one point behind AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
