Serie A (Week 25) : Sassuolo defeats Udinese 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 25: After losing 1-3 to Chievo on February 12, the Neroverdi returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Udinese this Sunday.
Grégoire Defrel scored dual goals
Udinese had started off well by taking the lead in the 7th minute with a goal by English midfielder Seko Fofana. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Neroverdi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Defrel '70, '79).
US Sassuolo Calcio climbed to 12nd place with 30 points from 25 games, 2 points behind AC Chievo Verona.
