ITALY, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 24: After losing 4-0 to AS Roma on February 7, the Viola bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Udinese this Saturday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Borja Valero in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Babacar '62 and Bernardeschi Federico '80/penalty).
ACF Fiorentina climbed to 7th place with 40 points from 24 games, 2 points behind Atalanta BC, which has a game in hand.
