Serie A (Week 24) : Juve beats Cagliari 2-0
ITALY, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 24: Five wins in a row for Juventus. After their success against Lazio, Sassuolo, Inter Milan and Crotone, La Vecchia Signora continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Cagliari this Sunday.
Gonzalo Higuaín scored dual goals
Juventus dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuaín in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Vecchia Signora further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Higuaín in the 47th minute.
Juventus remains in first place with 60 points from 24 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up AS Roma.
